In general, yes, for sure. Especially with the war, you're liable to see a desperate Cybertronian inject themselves with the stuff and go berserk across the battlefield. Then they die, and they get back up even worse. Also, in very small doses it acts as a narcotic, so while Transformers are a lot less prone to seek intoxicants than the average organic, you do see it in the seedier, darker corners of their civilization.

Re: Megatronus, it's honestly not something I had considered. I'm not in the camp of having Megatronus be "the original Decepticon" or anything like that - in my mind, he was the Primes's greatest warrior, and even though he was ruthless and reveled in the violence, he was ultimately a champion for the greater good, which would make Megatron co-opting his imagery a huge and very tragic betrayal.

As a writer I empathize, because editorial, audiences, and the status quo as a whole are a ball and chain you can only work around, and never truly disregard (unless you're doing elseworlds, which the X-Men have a lot of).

Probably them? They're definitely no innocents - they hunt down magicians who follow the Path of the Gods, and the only ones they don't kill on sight are the children who maybe haven't fully bought into that system - but the goal of eliminating the gods is sort of a noble one, depending on your perspective (and how much you or your loved ones have been victimized by their fickle whims).

Yeah, they're out there. They've not replaced starfighters or anything like that, but they're deployed in certain scenarios. I think the fact that you have Cybertronians running around necessarily means that people will be inspired to try and match that energy, haha.

Famously, Kree Sentries were among the more successful war machines produced during the war of liberation against the Protheans - they've largely been mothballed by now, as they're very costly to maintain long-term, but they're nonetheless an impressive (if very rare) sight.

It is in fact the power/cost issue that prevents them from becoming more ubiquitous; there's a Venn diagram sort of scenario where small, personal mechs are (relatively) cheap but don't have the power for a battlefield (more suited for security purposes) and huge mecha have power in spades, but are insanely expensive to field and maintain, so they become pointless outside of all out war situations. There are power sources that could support something more Gundam-sized, so to speak, but they're either very rare or too large and in need of miniaturization, so relatively few mecha of that type can be seen.

I'm not sure what you're expecting as an answer here other than "lots, probably".

Nobody's calling Genosha a paradise, or even all that great an idea, but what's the alternative? The usual Marvel status quo, where random innocent Mutants can get incinerated by a several-stories-tall hunter-killer robot while hanging out at the mall? Something like Krakoa, where Mutant superiority is explicitly championed and the world is basically held hostage by miraculous cures and inventions doled out by undying superpowered beings, prompting radicalized humans to seek out their complete extermination with religious-like zeal?

Genosha's not a happy compromise, but it is a compromise. It's an acknowledgement on both sides that the world has failed to achieve true integration, that discrimination remains prevalent and deadly for everyone involved. It's a stop-gap measure to save the most lives possible, both human and Mutant, implemented explicitly on the premise that the conditions must be created for it to eventually be discarded as a relic of a dark, intolerant past.
