Hello, lovelies!

I think at this point my own personal collection is pretty much compete (I’m definitely never gonna fork out the cash for the Saks LEs), I just need to get this year’s LE Belle, and then I may be done 🤷‍♀️ If the next Alice LE is really good, I may cave in to her, but will wait and see.

Got a de-boxed 2015 Jasmine LE doll and put the old outfit on the newest doll. The 2015 LE doll is pretty but the 2022 doll is better, and that torso joint combined with the heavy hair on the 2015 version is a pain in the butt.

Used to dislike this doll, but have come to appreciate her more over time

Really feels like you’re getting your money’s worth with this doll, and I love it! She has so many different looks, even has a new hand mold (least I think it’s new), and interestingly the base of her stand is black, unlike all the other 17” LEs. That’s not to say that she doesn’t have flaws tho (perfection is hard), but it could just be a preference thing. For example, I’d prefer if her eyes were a little more obviously open, it almost looks like the doll’s got her eyes closed. She has the rubber bend and snap legs which isn’t a problem for me in terms of posing (I don’t really pose my doll’s legs), but it’s probably gonna bother other collectors, and I fear the legs becoming ‘warped’ over time.

I managed to get so many dolls that I never thought I would have, I can’t believe how lucky I was!

I may have bought myself a second anniversary Rapunzel doll, I wanted to straighten her hair and put her in the first LE doll’s dress and maybe have her on display instead of the old doll. She’s gorgeous, but now I feel bad for the old doll 😆

This is only one of two villain LE dolls that I have (the other being Maleficent), I’m not the biggest fan of the villains or their dolls in general, but I really loved the redesign of this dress. And somehow the UK’s gotten the lower numbers this time, and I got number 2 of 1400 😳 That’s definitely the lowest number I have now.

I have one of my grails! I saw this doll going for a decent deal (she usually goes for 3 times the amount I paid for her) and I wasted no time!

Think she does look more Rapunzel-like now, especially with extra flowers too.

So glad to have a 17” Rapunzel with the updated face sculpt. I really liked the 10th anniversary Rapunzel doll by itself, but I was not a fan of the dress on that doll, so I passed up every opportunity to buy it. I think the 10th anniversary one had nicer hair, at least because it’s longer (though Rapunzel’s braided hair in the movie is about as short/long at the new doll’s hair) and has multiple flowers in it. I never minded the gold tinsel in Rapunzel’s hair, it made sense for characters like her or Aurora cause they’re meant to have ‘golden’ hair, but when they put it on dolls like Elsa? What were they thinking? 😑

This new Belle doll is so pretty, I really didn’t like her initially thanks to that first stock photo, but other photos taken by collectors changed my mind. It would be nice if the over-skirt was removable though, it would be cool to get two looks in one! And I’d have preferred if the over-skirt dragged on the ground a little bit.

Managed to get D23 Jasmine for a decent price (decent for the UK at least). Not sure which Jasmine I prefer overall though; I really like the simplicity of the general release doll, but I definitely prefer the over-skirt on the D23, especially for the way it sits on the doll. And I think I actually prefer the little headband I made for my general release more than the headpiece the D23 has 😆 It’s just more ‘Jasmine-like’!
