On the subject of the creature attacks, Ive been receiving radio calls non stop day and night about settlements on the Bismuth River region being attacked or sighting anomalous creatures, essentialy everyone on the range of my antennas reported something...listen people, the rangers are working hard killing capturing and studying this new treath, but there is a limit to what our boys and girls can do, they already have the usual vilanny of the wasteland to take care of, they dont have the manpower to stop whatever its happening right now, so my survivors you all gonna need to do your part on this.
But as you all already know I Big Dog am a helper AI, so I spent the last days compiling data from all the calls I received and I do have some information to share with you all that can help with your survival! first lets start with the basics, stockpile,water,food and a shitload of ammo, dont bother with automatic guns, its time for ye ol' reliables: 10mm rifles and buckshot shotguns those seem to have the best damage against these abominations and are mor cost efective.Reinforce windows, doors and gates, these things will bash their heads against your walls until it crumbles, improving them will gain you more time, cavalry spikes, moats and barbed wire seem to work at some degree, these creatures dont give a shit about their own phisical integrity, try to funnel these monsters and reduce their efective numbers, and most import of all remember, they will defeat you trought atrition of you dont rotate your combatants or ressuply they in combat!
"What if I don't have ammo anymore Big Dog?" well I heard some testimonies saying some tribes in the region were able to fight off the anomalies with bows,arrows and slings, but that's a gamble I dont envy, I also contacted a friend of mine that preffer to remain annonimous, she is a ex imperial blade and she knows ALOT about melee combat, she claims you can do alot against this monsters with a machete and a small metalic shield, but she recomends people craft spears with long blades, just weld a machete on the point of a long metalic pipe and you have a deadly weapon, but remember, be smart about it, if you fight in a open field you WILL die! corral the creatures in a door frame or a window before start swinging!
The egg heads here in the town told me to not go in specifics about each creature sighted because they want to avoid the spread of misinformation until they figure everything out, but I can tell you all something with certainty, BURN ALL CORPSES thats not a joke or exageration, once the battle is over rush to decapitate and burn every single body that remains, dont stop to examine or study it, just toast it! I've been receiving many accounts that when that fetid mist starts the intact bodies rise back to life and yes your fallen conrades are included!..."
