I don’t understand why my father tries to get out of paying my mom child support. You’re literally paying this woman to take care of the children you refuse to raise….

I used to have a father.

Do not tell me that I have to love and respect my father because he is my father. I do not have to do shit. I do not have to be good to someone who permanently damaged me. I do not have to treat someone well who beat me and did not take care of me or spend time with me because he was out doing drugs or cheating on my mother WHO spent her days taking care of us alone and crying because of him. I do not have to do shit. I am eighteen years old and still trying to recover from the damage he has done. I am eighteen years old and I have missed so many opportunities because of the trust I lack, the rejection I am scared of, and the many things I fear BECAUSE of him.

I feel this so deep. My dad was sexually abusive, a liar, a cheater, abandoned me, and now just doesnt give a shit about me.
