I write dark romance

I'm writing a dark romance, it's going pretty well and I've just started posting it on ao3.

Here's a quick synopsis

Madison isn’t intimidating at first glance. She works her shifts at a 24-hour convenience store and goes home to feed her neighbours cat. But you should never judge a book by it’s cover.

She has more skeletons in her closet than most.

When a London gang is paid a hefty sum to retrieve the unassuming young woman they expect it to be as easy as taking candy from a baby, they didn’t think she’d pose any kind of threat to their organisation. The men soon find out, however, that they have bitten off more than they can chew. Madison is smarter than she looks and far more dangerous than she’s given credit for. And Jase, the head of their operation is intrigued, to say the least.

★ Do you like series that are made of interconnected standalones? Which are your favorites?

One of my favorite series that does this is @srmauthor’s Muses and Monsters series, and today is the release day of Souls and Sorrows, the fifth book in the series!

I first read Promises and Pomegranates last year, and it was an instant favorite. If you enjoy dark and taboo romances, this is a must read. I was instantly hooked, and even made a point to meet Sav when we were at LoveNVegas a few weeks ago.

As for my question, this is one of the things that I love about the romance genre! Series where each book follows a different romance are some of my favorites—especially when the main characters from other books in the series have supporting roles.
