She had to make the executive call for her mental health to just say fuck it and head back home.

Noticing that nightmares have been effecting Plumeria more often recently,Piers approached his beloved from behind. Gently wrapping his thin,yet strong arms around her. Pulling her close to him slightly as Piers placed a small trail of kisses against her shoulder.
"Anythin' I can do for ya,love? Some tea? Simply cuddles? Maybe a soft song? I don't mind singin' ta ya." He asked softly,hoping do anything to cheer her up or distract her busy mind.
Plumeria was having an off day. But like, black out off, where everything felt numb, and hollow. The nightmares came back, and they came back strong, leaving her mental state wrecked once again. She broke down into tears.
"I thought these were over!" She cried, hanging her head into her boyfriend's neck. "I know the therapist said it would take time, but damnit, I thought I was getting better."
Piers held her closer after she turned around and faced him. Gently trailing his hand up and down the length of her back.
He understood how bad these nightmares were.
"Sometimes there are set backs. An' it's okay,love. Ya just gotta take yer time." He softly replied,kissing the top of her head.
"One day at a time,yeah? Yer a strong lass,I've seen it with me own eyes. Ya allowed ta have days like this. An' ya ain't alone. I'm not going anywhere."
Plumeria sighed, holding onto Piers tighter. "Will you lie down with me? And maybe sing me something? I don't wanna feel like this.."
She was still hesitant to dump all of her emotions and issues onto Piers, though she knew he would rather he do that than face them alone.
Without a word, he effortlessly picked up Plumeria bridal style. Carried her to their bed in his flat.
Gently laying her on the bed before laying beside her. Piers laid on his side, letting her decide how she wanted to be with him.
He then kissed the top of her head. "Once ya get comfy,I'll sing ta ya,love."
She immediately snuggled into him, her back to his front, making her the little spoon as usual. She drapped his arm around her wordlessly, all of her movements and aura becoming as small as she could possibly make herself.
"Okay..I'm ready.." her voice was quiet, as she was most likely starting to disassociate slightly again. "I love you."
"I love ya too...with all my heart." He let his fingers caress her torso. Piers closed his eyes as he hummed softly before he started to softly sing.
"You might be sitting there alone.
Just stayin' in the cold, thinkin' ya got no one ta love ya.
But I'm here ta let ya know...I'm ain't gonna let you go...with my arms wrapped around ya,keepin' ya safe.~"
He hummed softly as he tried to calm down Plumeria at least a little.
"So go ahead an' cry, even if it seems we're just barely gettin' by.
I'll be 'ere till the end, no matter the what happens. I'll be 'ere.
The light to ya dark. The kiss ta silence the doubt. The warm that keeps ya safe.

Somewhere between exhaustion and the comfort and safety of the arms around her, the angelic and melodic voice brought Plumeria into a very much needed deep and peaceful sleep. She still held onto Piers, his hand positioned so that he could feel her heartbeat, with her hand clasped into his.
It was the perfect lullaby.
Hearing her fast asleep, Piers smiled slightly and pulled one of the throw blankets over the two of them. But mainly over Plumeria.
It seemed like she really needed her rest. So,he just held his lover close. Protecting her the best he could.
"Sweet dreams, my beautiful sonnet. My your dreams not haunt ya while ya in my arms." He whispered softly, giving the back of her neck a small peck as he just held her for as long as she needed him to.
