They are able to receive and interpret prophecies, however saying them out loud used to drive them, and those around them to madness. To prevent this they choose to not speak, and instead write down their prophecies, to be approved by the head of the order. Approved prophecies will be sent to the appropriate people in charge (e.g a King, a mayor, e.t.c), who will do what they wish with the information.
