Sturmpanzer IV - “Brummbär” Sd.Kfz. 166 or also known as “Sturmpanzer 43″

Equiped with a 15cm Sturmhaubitze 43 L/12

It was developed as a tank destroyer and to breach heavy bunkers.

From April 1943 to March 1945 this tank was produced. In total 306 pieces.

Two different ammunitions where used: the Igr 38 FES - a heavy high explosive to destroy buildings and bunkers

and the Igr 38 HI/A a 25kg - a HEAT warhead to fight armoured vehicles

Selsbstfahrlafette IV A - Sturmgeschütz “Dicker Max”

10,5-cm-Geschütz K 18 L/52

Only 2 prototypes where built 1941, they went into testing 1942 on the eastern-front. One was destroyed the other one is missing.

I had to pause for a long time, i was frustrated because my Warthunder account got hacked and i´m not able do use the old one anymore. So rest in peace my beloved SU-122 and IS-2.
