- (legal) Dad’s (my going-on-85 y.o-grandfather actually) cognitive health is on the decline due to suspected early signs of dementia, so I get to inherit his car (Toyota Avalon.. they don’t make those anymore). Not only that, but in exchange I’m taking on the remnants of the student loans he took out under his name solely while I was in college. This means I have to find another source of income to manage that. (Thinking monthly sticker/pin club since it’s just an extra $600 a month I gotta manage)

- Got a whole house to myself now. Neat. What am I gonna do with three bedrooms! Still cheaper than what I was paying in PA thankfully. (I’m in ohio now)

- Opening up an Etsy and Patreon simultaneously this weekend probably.

- Renovating this house like nobody’s business. Contact paper and beadboards everywhere. Tidying up those baseboards.

- Found a litter robot 3 that someone wanted to get rid of for $50 on the Facebook marketplace. Enjoying that scoop free life. What a god send.

- A dealership I got my previous jeep from is being investigated by an attorney general for possible charges/having their license revoked due to what is suspected of them forging a fake title and selling my ford escape I wanted to use as a trade in. It was deemed invaluable and I was instructed to… settle for “voluntary repossession”. My lender was never able to collect it. This loan has been sitting on my credit since 2021 with missed payments. It is damaged beyond repair because of this and I can’t get approved for jack shit!! At least not another car, hence why my family is cool with just giving me their Avalon.

Either way, they have 21 days to respond. Don’t know what kind of settlement that’ll involve but it should prove favorable since that open loan has been jacked up all the way to over $19k thanks to interest.
