oh how i wish there was a bigger Dark Angel fandom.. :(

#i really love this#i don’t know how to explain why but i’ll try to#so alec’s always known something went wrong with ben but has never known what#and i don’t think it clicked for him how bad it was until max told him#manticore certainly wouldn’t have told them#and i think max had long since gotten past alec having ben’s face#but was then confronted with what he’d done and what she’d done in that moment#and she doesn’t even think before she decides to get him out#because whatever alec’s done to her he doesn’t deserve to keep paying for what he’d done#and i don’t think she initially intended to tell alec what really happened#but then he asks about who ben was and it’s the first time someone asks her about who he was as her brother#and not as a serial killer or as a failed project (and i think she’s including herself in that)#and alec just listens and doesn’t push her to explain or demand an answer or judge her he’s just there for her#so she feels comfortable being vulnerable and allowing herself to express the pain she’s been holding on to#it’s just a very good honest moment between the two of them and it’s one of my favorites in the show

i never knew Original Cindy was in the Army till now!! did they ever mention it in the show that i missed, or is it just in the books..?

i totally forgot that Dark Angel was set in 2020..
