All sorts of cuteness.
It's been stuck in my head all day.
I walked down the aisle to this song in December.
No other reason is needed to make it December's track of the month.
It's embarassing that I'm just posting November's track of the month now, in January.
Will post December's right away too.

Indie Shuffle = love.
I'm reading the book "Norwegian Wood" by Haruki Murakami right now, punctuated with listening to the song. I think getting my hands on a copy of the film comes next.
You'll know after one minute why I chose Kathleen Edwards' "Change the Sheets" as October's track of the month.
Two months from now, I'm getting married.
Crazy.
This is me today (every day.)

I know the kind of thing that makes you laugh.
Beautiful.
I really wanted to choose Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" as September's track of the month because my carpool listened to it so often during our commute from small town SK back to the city and it is so darn catchy. But I was worried because I am a teacher and, well, it alludes to school shootings.
But then I went to Royal Wood last Thursday and he played a cover of "Pumped Up Kicks":
That cemented the song as track of the month. Plus, I decided that isn't that part of artistic license? The ability to take something horrible and make it beautiful?
I think so.

Yay! People took them
Love this!
The finale of Regina Folk Festival 2011 included a cover of this song. I watched it with the man I love(d) by my side.
He's no longer mine, so I'm listening to this on repeat as my heart heals.
"Don't worry about a thing, 'cause every little thing gonna be alright." ♥
Edit: Our break-up lasted 4 days and now we're getting married at Christmas!

July was a busy month. Love being a teacher and having it off!
My late choice for July track of the month is "Calgary" by Bon Iver. I didn't want to choose "Calgary" just because I'm always guilty of loving the first single off new albums. But track of the month for July it is, if only because I tweeted the following on July 20th: "Totally listened to @boniver's single "Calgary" whilst driving into #Calgary. #imcoollikethat"
I knew I loved this song within the first 30 seconds of listening.
So, despite it only being the 5th of June it has to be named track of the month because I already know I will be playing it over and over and over.
And over.
