It all started when Bobby took you home to Hyannis Port during the summer to meet his family. The two of them have a habit of calling you by a shortened version of your name. Similar to the way that Jack would call his sister Rosemary, Rosie.

They’d share a glass of wine as the fireplace crackled, the both of them asking what your favorite part of the day was, Jackie telling her husband about what the two of you did while out on the island, Jack asking you, “aren’t you glad you came along, sweetheart?” with a small smile on his face.

The conversation would continue long into the night, the mood quickly shifting once their wine glasses emptied. You knew something was coming with the way they seemed to silently speak to one another solely using their eyes, small smirks painted onto their faces. Jack swiftly made his way towards you, who was sitting on the very edge of the bed. He took the time to brush stray hairs out of your face before delicately cupping your cheeks, unleashing a tender smile once you allowed yourself to look him in the eyes. “Lemme get a good look a’cha.” Jackie quickly took her place beside you on the bed, making herself comfortable as she placed your hands in her lap, eyeing Jack as he stood in front of you.

“Why don’t we take this to our bedroom tonight instead, hm?”
