the concept of showering with pope cody after a beach day where the freckles littering his shoulders are being accentuated by his new tan and your skin feels that specific brand of sand-gritty taut one can only achieve after laying out in the sun in a tiny bikini for hours and he’s all handsy but gentle and you’re both needy from staring at each other half naked all afternoon

id venture to say he definitely was, especially at times when he was surrounded by crowds of people who just wanted a sliver of his attention and so loudly expressed their admiration for him; however, i think most days he was more concerned with those that didn’t love him than those that did. i find he was always thinking about the numbers that didn’t count towards him, and how he could change them to be in his favor, especially leading up to and during his presidency. but id say if you’ve ever watched the video of him in boston, the night before the 1960 election, that was certainly a time where you can see & hear in his demeanor that he felt the love, overwhelmingly so
