id venture to say he definitely was, especially at times when he was surrounded by crowds of people who just wanted a sliver of his attention and so loudly expressed their admiration for him; however, i think most days he was more concerned with those that didn’t love him than those that did. i find he was always thinking about the numbers that didn’t count towards him, and how he could change them to be in his favor, especially leading up to and during his presidency. but id say if you’ve ever watched the video of him in boston, the night before the 1960 election, that was certainly a time where you can see & hear in his demeanor that he felt the love, overwhelmingly so

when inga sent him congratulations for winning the presidential election, he never replied. he could’ve, could’ve began an affair with her—clearly she’d still held feeling for him—could’ve had her as another one of his many women, but he didn’t. i think, for jack, inga was so many feelings and memories and from, what could be considered, the worse ten years of his short life, that he couldn’t have gone back to her even if he really wanted to. i think it was easier for him to lock her away in the deep recesses of his past than for him to even consider having her again. to my inference, it was too painful for him to go back

i LOOOOOOVE barry pepper’s bobby kennedy. it is Thee bobby kennedy performance To Me. his accent, his mannerisms, his embodiment is unlike any other biopic depiction i’ve ever seen. i cannot sing enough praise for it. what did u think, did u like it? :)
