I have been working on my idea of a light that you can attach to the bonnet of your car to help you while you are working. I have though of everything I can to do with the light, things like the size, (width and length) the color, the shape, how you could attach it to the car. And then I explored other ideas with light for the bonnet such as rope lighting, spot lights and even using the head lights that are already in the car in some way.
I though about how the light would come on to, would it be a switch or a sensor encase someone forget to switch the light off and the battery would wast.
Coming to attach the light to the bonnet I though the best way was to screw it on, it would be the strongest and safest way I could thing off. Other ideas came to me like magnets and a heavy duty sticky tape but they were not the bests.
Another thing that would have to be dealt with is how much space there would be between the bonnet and the engine to work with. So the light would have to be a slim fit so as not to be hitting off anything and breaking.
I came across a lot of different and cool looking ideas for helping you while you are working on an engine but I found that all of them had big flaws that made them look better than the way they worked. Â Â
