@fallingstarsandthemoon 's post inspired me to FINALLY watch the knights of guinevere pilot. it was cool. i almost have the same birthday as it.

even though i didn't have the heart to draw the guts and blood, because of the subject matter i'm counting this as my mcgoretober post for today (also because i don't have as much free time today and i didn't know what to do for the actual prompt lol)

csv!dan's outfit isn't as fancy but it's based on the prince from sleeping beauty. though it's not like a corporation like that would EVER have a trans man as their mascot

@plzgimmethecheeseman 's post of shady oaks in mlp made me want to redraw (or actually draw my own) art of csv!dan and tray in mlp! i'm not that great at drawing mlp or quadraped characters in general but i'm happier with this than the base edit i did...nearly a year ago

dan is a unicorn and is good at magic but only really specific spells + he got his cutie mark so far past childhood he thought he'd never get one

yeah i know the dan and tray series might not be coming back. i still like the characters whether it does or doesn't. i still love the old stuff anyway they're my favourite characters ever. i'll just keep writing fics

yes they look different than usual that's cause i'm drawing them in the actual canon (whatever the canon is. i think all the series are aus of each other) that's cause for once i'm not drawing crystalverse and i'm REALLY trying to not default to those designs when i draw them (there's a reason i usually draw trayaurus with split thick eyebrows...cause i can't draw unibrows)

next chapter of my fic possibly coming out in a few hours or tomorrow? anyway idk if by huge coincidence any of my followers/mutuals like or play any toontown recreations? my friend got me into toontown rewritten in february and i've been playing it like every day now so inevitably my special interests are gonna collide and crossover

i asked my friends what toon species dan and tray would be and they said the standard size bear and lanky ass dog respectively, and grim is a doodle! technically registered as dan's but he shares him with tray

most of the clothes are accurate just with different colours but the lab coat is supposed to only be for npcs that work in the loony labs so almost natural for tray! and toons usually only wear t shirts and shorts/skirts, csv!dan not being inclined to show much arm and leg in public wears a kind of bodysuit underneath the shirt and shorts? bet it's super comfy. and you can wear steampunk-ish goggles but not on your character's head but that's not stopping him
