Bruce enters the hangar and sees Hal's private aircraft, painter black with red stripes (because apparently, Hal's favorite color is red??) and so well-maintained and Hal helps him get in and they go on a ride with beautiful scenery and Hal talks to Bruce through their aviation headsets, and the sound of Hal's confident voice as he explains everything below and above them does something to Bruce's inside, to the point Bruce asks doubts he already knows the answer to just to hear Hal's chuckle and listen to him talk for the entire ride. It's beautiful.

Once they're back on land, Hal holds Bruce's hand - or waist - to help him out and makes sure the plane is properly docked before walking through the hangar, talking about various plane models. Bruce shares what he knows of planes and Hal bites his lip because Bruce's competence is infuriatingly attractive.

But if you look at the bigger picture, the picture is the opposite.

Wow, Bruce, I don't know where all these engagement proposals for our unborn child are coming from. Cool, Bruce, just don't go to that planet, okay? hahaha YEA I completely agree hahaha from a normal person on Earth's POV, their sweethearts are dating some random dude, Damian is dating a whole ass orphan, even hahaha. Both Billy and Hal combined will have a inheritance of 56 dollars altogether, but they manage to become billionaires somehow hahaha.

BUT if you're not a mere mortal on Earth, then the situation's the opposite!!!

A random child with a not-so-good lineage somehow can bag the whole ass Captain Marvel, the Champion of Gods! Billy as Captain Marvel is above royalty, even; he's divine! Money means nothing to the magical community, really lol Getting married to Captain Marvel is probably treated like THE Y/N moment of the millenia in the Magic community lol

The same with Bruce, too

Hal probably has an infinite amount of statues built in his image across the universe, and Batman is literally some random dude in a Bat costume to 80% of the vast galaxy, really. Like, who is this guy, even? How has he bagged their one-and-only greatest Green Lantern alive? Isn't Hal getting fought over by so, so many other people of high status? How can this random dude bag the baddest bitch in the galaxy, anyway???
