selling a revolution

another year’s gone by and we’re back here again- wishing @daneryonyx a happy birthday and doing it all before he wakes up. i thought i would’ve managed to say it all last year but apparently not since i’ve got the feeling i’ll be rambling on for hours about the boy. 

had i known years ago that this would be the lad who’d change my whole life, i might’ve not gone as far as waiting until he dove through a portaloo to befriend him. then again, if you had told me years ago that’d he’d be the one and only for me, i probably would’ve gone on the bants about how dead wrong you were. i don’t know what it really was about george in fact. far as i was concerned, he was just this dead weird looking kid- but he proved me wrong. george has proved so many people wrong. george has proved to be so much more than this funny looking clown. 

he’s proved to be brilliant, talented far beyond what he credits himself with. he’s proved to be an incredible friend, going every extra mile to never give up on me when i’ve needed him most. he’s proved to be a wonderful husband and an even more incredible father. from the boy who dove through the portaloo to the father who’d put the world on a string for his daughter, george truly is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. not only because he’s my husband or my band mate, but he’s my best friend. lord knows where i’d be if he hadn’t stumbled into my life.
