“I’M NOT HERE” by Dani Rodriguez (@danirodriguezph) — A introspective exploration with the intention of projecting the reality of a young society unable to stay present ― When we talk about depression, people usually imagine someone in a fetal position crying in their bed. However, a real depression is not necessarily visible. Absence is the mental state most frequented by those who suffer from depression. This is the feeling of not being present in reality if not, on the contrary, a cloudy memory that does not let you appreciate the day to day. This condition is one of the most frequent symptoms in the young population that suffers from depression. Taking sports as an example that from an external point of view seem to be played by "happy" people, I have decided to translate a more honest version, where I present these activities as an escape from the present, becoming consequently, a therapeutic exercise.
