Art and music-- and here I mean 2D and 3D art, because of course music is an art form in itself-- have this weird relationship; in terms of art, people buy what they hear, like all the big names from the big galleries, and in terms of music, people buy what they see, like the album cover, or the music video... It's a sheep's world out there.

Suit group exhibition February 12th - March 8th Opening Reception 2.12.14 from 8pm - 10pm

Warehouse Gallery presents the opening reception for the exhibition Suit tomorrow evening. Artists Kate Conway, Duane Ferguson, Ricardo Francis, Sabine Pieper, Stacy Scibelli, Maine Smith, and Lesley Ware team up for a playful dialogue on fashion and function. If you have enjoyed New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter Season 2014, this exhibition will suit you well. The Ware team has had a chance to take in some inspiration in and outside the tents and look forward to capping this exciting week of fashion in Brooklyn. ~ The opening reception is sponsored by Prym Rum who has collaborated with duo Lesley and kamau ware to create a yummy cocktail called “The Warehouse”. We are also sponsored by Lotus Scoop, natural juice smoothie ice cream. Samples of The Warehouse cocktail and ice cream will be available at the reception.
