“You aren’t a freak of nature for being tiny. The being born without my knowledge thing is weird, but witches made you all that way so none of it is really normal. There’s nothing wrong with being short, though.”

“It might be weird but it’s been my normal so I stopped questioning it. I was use to being short, but it was different when everyone wasn’t this much taller than me. Have you seen Jace beside me?”

“To be honest, I’m not sure either but we can blame our family for it. My siblings were all pretty tall, so it would make sense. I don’t know how you and your sister ended up so tiny.”

“I’m sure it is your side. How we ended up so short though is beyond me besides us just being freaks of nature.”

“I’d love to take offense to that, but even if I didn’t actually birth any of you, I think genetics still work that way so that’s fair.” Liv laughed in response, rolling her eyes. “Sorry, kid.”

“I honestly have no idea how all the genetics work, but I figure there’s some way I can blame his height on the Parker side.”

“You can, as many times as you want to. It’s not your fault he’s a giant.” 

“I blame you for him being a giant though,” Danielle teased her mom with a warm laugh.

“I think it’s evolutionary. They’re all stupid.”

“Can I tell Jace that? He’s been making fun of my height.”

“I don’t think that’s all it is. But what do I know, I barely see him. I’ll go with you though, if you want some company.” 

“I want to say there’s more to it, but it’s not like he makes it easy to read him. I would love some company though it’s always nice to have a hype girl at least.”

“It isn’t too much, I’d rather it be here than somewhere else. Just…be careful. And I don’t just mean with the sex, okay?”

“I already know I’m going to end up with a broken heart, mom. I’m just trying to enjoy it while I can.”

“I just think if he’s showing up in pants, he can leave in them so I don’t keep finding them. It might save him a neurotic lecture from his mother. And me if she thinks I know what you two do when I’m not here.” 

“I just like to steal some of his pants so that I can wear his sweat pants later. They’re comfortable,” Danielle admitted, “If it’s too much having me here with him...I can find another place, mom.”

“He still won’t admit how into you he is?” Sky asked. “You can always raid my closet if you want. Or my cousin’s, she gave me free reign since she’s too pregnant to fit into most of her stuff right now.”

“I know he’s into me physically. There isn’t a question about that trust me. It’s a matter of is that all I am? Just some doll for him to enjoy? It’s worth it, but I wish there was more,” She admitted sitting on top of her clothes, “Maybe I should go shopping.”

I wasn’t, but while we’re on the subject, maybe he can start taking his pants with him when he leaves.

“But then I wouldn’t have anything to stare at...but I get it. I’ll have a talk with him.”

“I wouldn’t say nothing.” Sky said, coming to a pause in the doorway. “It looks like your closet exploded.”

“I’m trying to find the perfect outfit for a concert,” She admitted heavily looking at the explosion around her. “I want to make Ryan worry that someone else will notice me.”

Not about you, I’ve got a sister that’s just…weird. Oh, hey, I got tickets to a concert in Richmond next weekend, you want to go?

I’ve been learning that sisters are a strange thing to have at all. Do I owe you anything for those tickets? Maybe a kiss?
