“I get that.” Jackson said, and he really did. He often wished he could just take off and live a different life, away from all the pain of his current one. But he knew that his was a type of pain that would follow him wherever he goes. He shrugged, “I don’t know… Classes haven’t been so great, I guess. Right before Mateo and I broke up, we signed up for a lot of the same classes. He picked them based on things he thought we should be working on, and now it’s just kind of a reminder of everything I don’t have.” Did he even have anythign good happening in his life right now? He wasn’t sure. It didn’t feel like it.
Daniel frowned when Jackson said that not even his classes had been going well and he felt like his heart was breaking for his brother all over again. He couldn't help but believe there was something he could have done, should have done to make it better for him. "Well that's shitty," he said and huffed, trying to think of how painful it must be to always see the person that broke your heart. "Okay, well. The semester is almost over right? That's good news. You can start fresh next year."
