"What? A meeting?" Joe said quietly, leaning in and eyeing his teammates. He pulled a shoelace through his fingers and tied it quickly before throwing an old band shirt over his head. “Wait until they’ve gone," he said, gesturing to the sweaty boys eyeballing Dani’s position on the bench. He hoped his teammates wouldn’t think he was trying to be alone with Dani: reputations were fragile at Welton, and he wasn’t sure what the others would think.

Dani tilted her head back towards the retreating backs of the other footballers, watching them in their various states of dishevelment. "Kurt must have thought it would be funny to let me run around in a state of panic when he tells me the date two days before hand." She leaned forward again, narrowing her eyes. The last one stepped through the door and it shut with a soft thud that resonated against the walls.

Now we just need matching tattoos or something weird like that.
