'The gloves are off' Gniewosz, also known as Gotard, sat down for a moment to rest and catch his breath. Since he lost his horse two days ago, this pursuit became much more of a struggle and with every step through this frozen wasteland his armor felt heavier and heavier. He has been following the Teutonic raiding party through the frozen Baltic for many days. They were heading north. Among the dozens of those poor souls captured by rejza, was his beloved Milena. Gotrad had once visited these area with his father and recognized the coastline of a land known as Courland.Those damned Teutonic Knights are heading towards Alschwangen Castle - He thought. Otto - an experienced Teutonic soldier - focused his gaze on the tree line. Something was lurking there. He shook the shoulder of his comrade, Ludolf.
