i am moving over to @dandyshucks-new , a whole new account so that i have one solely for selfship stuff!!
i'll likely keep this blog up as an archive but might delete it at some point in the future, still deciding!
i THINK that maybe tumblr fixed its thing where u couldn't change which tab ("for you", following, followed tags, etc) is the default on new accounts.... so I am considering making a new tumblr account just for selfshipping fsdjkl that way I don't have to lowkey hide it on my main anymore bc i can just have a wholly separate account for it HMMM. but also i would be sad to move blogs dsjsdfjkl but better to do it now than wait longer,,,
YES IT WORKS OKAY, i will start setting up that account and then share the url and slowly move over there :D !!!
how... do i move over there with the same url FSDJKL i have to wait 24 hours to re-claim it ... hmmm. i'll just... change this one to add "moving" to the end and then append "new" to the new one until the original opens back up to snag maybe?
this is such a hassle but it'll be so worth it once i get it set up (hopefully LMAO)

Your f/o does not think youre a burden or hard to deal with. i can 100% assure you they don't. I mean it. No matter how annoying or burdensome you think you are, they don't think that's even slightly true.

Making playlists, pinterest boards, some sort of self-insert content in general with you and your f/o or comfort character feels like warm soup on a cold day. So this is your sign to create that self-insert thing you've always wanted to. It doesn't matter whether anyone thinks it's 'good', it doesn't matter if anyone thinks it's 'cringe', it matters that you enjoy it. Create it because it makes you excited, create it because it gives you comfort, create it because you feel closer to them. Create it because you deserve that joy.

imagine you get injured- it's not major, it stings a little... but your f/o horrified anyways. you reassure them over and over, but there's little that can stop the fawning. an ice pack is being passed from their hands to yours in a milisecond. their voice is strained with concern as they ask if you need anything more. maybe their hands gently brush over the area, inspecting for any more damage. you can't help but stare at their face as it gets close, your eyes full of a loving gaze. at some point, maybe you even relent and let them dote on you. who could complain about having such sweet attention?
this time of year is especially difficult (i.e. many memory gaps and occasional blackouts) for me so I do apologize if I vent here, I've been working hard to abstain from doing that (and will continue to try my best to avoid doing so) but it may crop up here and there - I'll try to remember to come up with a tag over the next day or two so that it can be easily filtered though!!

My f/o is traumatized and I want so badly to just be there for them, hold and comfort them and tell them how much I adore them. To let them know that's it's ok to be vulnerable and that experiencing negative emotion isn't "being a downer" or anything like that. To help them feel truly safe and that they belong. I want to help them heal. They are such a sweetheart and they didn't deserve any of what happened to them

For my artistz!! Imagine making little drawings of your f/o (or things they like) and giving them to your f/o as little gifts every now and then. Imagine your f/o having a whole drawer/container/place where they keep all of your drawings. Perhaps they like to look at all of it when they're feeling down, or they just love to look at it whenever they feel like it. It just makes them feel better!! <3
