After much trial and error, the CB500 is road ready again. Upgrades includes: a complete re-wire from scratch, new battery, new bar-end turn signals, new fork seals and fluid, rebuilt brake caliper, and a custom leather side cover bag. Lately I’ve been using these craft foam sheets to make prototypes. It’s 2mm thick, which is about the same thickness as 3-4oz leather. It also has similar pliability as veg-tan leather.
