The Revelation Beneath the Flame

At twelve years of age, a book found its way into my hands — A Divine Revelation of Hell by Mary K. Baxter (1940–2021) — a text trembling with the fever of salvation and the terror of the abyss.

In her vision, Hell appeared not as a pit, but as a woman’s body — vast, cosmic, and profane — lying upon her back, her arms and legs outstretched toward the void. Within her form, countless tunnels branched and spiraled, leading into the manifold chambers of damnation.

Whether Baxter’s words were born of divine rapture or delirium, vanity or vision, I do not know — yet one truth endures: she touched, without understanding, the architecture of the Nightside.

For what she named Hell is, in truth, the Qliphothic Matrix, and the tunnels she feared are the Tunnels of Set-Apep — the arteries of anti-creation, the inverted pathways through which the Initiate descends and ascends. They connect the shadowed Sephiroth of the Qliphoth, the hidden skeleton of the cosmos, where the Serpent coils and whispers through the dark folds of eternity.

Baxter, bound by dogma, saw torment where there was transformation, chaos where there was Gnosis. Her Christ was blind to the Black Light. Yet her imagery betrayed the seed of revelation — for to see Hell as a woman’s form is to glimpse Lilith Herself, the First Mother of Shadow and the Gate of Becoming.

The Womb of Lilith, the Muladhara, is the Root — the primal source of the Serpent’s ascent. From this root, the adept rises through the forbidden chakras of the Nightside, awakening power through the dissolution of false light. Each tunnel is a mirror of the self — a wound, a memory, a secret — demanding confrontation and transmutation.

To enter Hell, therefore, is to return to the Womb; to die in order to rise; to unmake the false self and reforge it in the Black Flame. It is the path of atavistic resurrection, where death becomes illumination and sin becomes sovereignty.

Through the mastery of the Qliphoth — through ordeal, terror, and ecstasy — the Initiate conquers the illusion of opposites and stands unveiled before the Abyss as a Black Diamond, a god born of dissolution.

Thus the cry of the true Adept resounds through the Tunnels of Night:

ZAZAS ZAZAS NASATANADA ZAZAS!
