*Cuddles you and pets your head.* He didnât deserve the crap he was written off with. I believe heâll be back, hopefully before weâre old and grey.
;m; even if I'm hobbling on a stick, I'll be screeching his name when he's back. -touches u tenderly and curls on.- Weeeeeeeeehhhs.Â

Damian Wayne || Batman and Robin # 18
You know what gets me most? It's that even though I am still so angry over the fact that Damian's death was written in such a terrible and overly brutal way, I can't help but cry when I read this issue. I know that not everyone shares the same feelings, opinions, or thoughts on Damian Wayne as I do. Not everyone is a fan of him. I understand, accept, and even agree on some points that people make on why Damian is so unlikeable. He's a jerk filled with sarcasm and the type of darkness that most children simply do not have. But he was my little shit. He is the character that I watched grow from being a soldier with only one purpose into a child who shoulders the burden of his father's legacy and his father's war. He is the character that I saw go from drawing horrific pictures to pictures of Alfred drinking tea, Titus, and his grandparents' graves. He is the character that I saw learn what it means to truly live with a family--one that wasn't perfect, wasn't normal--but still a wonderful family scarred as it was. He was the one that I watched learned how to smile. Damian Wayne isn't a perfect human being, though he may have been raised to attempt to be one in many ways and forms. He was only ten years old with a whole life ahead of him. He still had so many things to learn--both as a boy slowly becoming a young man and then an adult. He was the son that would carry on a legacy. We don't know if he's coming back and if he is, if he'll even be the same Damian Wayne that we know. But even though his death was an example of a successfully fridged Robin, I am very happy that Tomasi and Gleason showed that Damian was more than just the unwanted son of Talia and Bruce Wayne. He was a brother, a master, a friend. He was a soldier, an heir, and a son. And to me, he was more than a plot device for Batman's angst. He was a simple character that grew in complexity. He is important to me. And I'm going to miss him greatly.

maybe it's ignorance
but I donât see how women make less than men? Most places have set wages and salaries and you get paid for what position you are in. And anyway, wouldnât you notice if someone is getting paid more than you doing the same job? Does this actually happen? I literally have not heard one real life case of this ever.
This is a serious question, Iâm not trying to be a smartass, someone please give me an example.
Most places have set minimum wages, which is usually denoted by the state, for most jobs. So you can say that both men and women, unless illegally and unjustly are jipped by their employers, earn at least minimum wage on a job. However, because minimum wage is just that--a minimum wage, an employer is allowed to set a wage however they want for those under them since it is their right to do so.Â
Studies (actual research studies that give statistical data and empirical evidence) over the years and recently have shown and have continuously proven that women make about 80% of what men make. But I have heard from a friend of mine who wrote a paper on this very subject that's only if you are a white woman. Most minorities only make about 60% of a man.Â
And as for noticing if someone is getting paid more than you, of course you would. Especially if they are a colleague who picks up their check the same time as you. And people talk. That's how most people realize that they are earning more or less than others.Â
Of course, it may not have happened to you or anyone around you as of yet for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it still means yes, it actually happens. There are plenty of real life cases of this every single day. This is a normal occurrence.Â
Here are some links that you can check to educate yourself on this subject if you wish to.
You can also find real life examples in here.

More Statistical Evidence
Of course, you will probably find more objectively written but still statistically proving papers that women earn less than men by going to a library site, google's research paper/scholar search section, or your high school/college's library database and search for it.Â
You will find a lot because there really is a lot about this.Â

VFX Company Rhythm & Hues Protested Last Nightâs Oscar Ceremony
Ang Leeâs Life of Pi won Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Visual Effects (VFX) during last nightâs Oscars ceremony, but that last prize leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of many who worked on the film. You might assume those who work on a film that wins an Oscar would be excited about it taking home the gold, but thatâs not the case for over 400 current and ex-employees of visual effects company Rhythm & Hues, which filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and fired over 250 employees last week. Deadline reports that many of those workers gathered and staged a large protest near the 85th Academy Awards ceremony last night. (read more)
Iâm amazed this isnât getting more attention on tumblr, considering how many people here enjoy the work these people do. All those gifs, all the screencaps, they donât just magically happen.
âI remember tears streaming down your face When I said, "I'll never let you go" When all those shadows almost killed your light I remember you said, "Don't leave me here alone" But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight Just close your eyes The sun is going down You'll be alright No one can hurt you now Come morning light You and I'll be safe and sound Don't you dare look out your window, darling, Everything's on fire The war outside our door keeps raging on Hold on to this lullaby Even when the music's gone Gone.â
