"I don’t even know why I inquired, your charms can please anyone, sure she likes you as well." he grinned, even though no one could be certain of Sophie’s statements and emotions. "Alright then. You are smart, if you are sure of that then I don’t see why not…" Of course he wasn’t eactly happy about this, it meant she’d be around more and that Damian would be vunerable to her needs. "…Will she be a regular visitor to this castle from now on?" What a stupid question, of course she would. But might as well know the truth from Damian ‘s mouth to assure his predictions.

"she visits the castle pretty regularly anyway" Damian answered with a shrug "but yeah I suppose it means she'll be around more often..." he didn't seem too happy, and it's not like he was surprised by that but it still irked Damian a little bit. He liked Sophie, he didn't understand why Flynn had such a problem with it.

" Even if you didn’t, I would still do it. But at least you accept the valuable protection I’m providing, smart of you as always." he smiled back even though a bit of distaste for the plot of their relationship was still showing. "Yes,no need to elaborate words to translate what you feel about Augustine to me, this is already too much… Are you certain that she regards you as such as well and that you are not wasting your precious time?" Because he knew Sophie wasn’t one to trust, she showed physical patterns of a liar and also psychological, but those observations were left in Flynn’s mind alone after he witnessed how they aftected Damian. 

In his lifetime Flynn had acted more like family than all the other relatives Damian had put together. A part of me has always loved you. "I'm certain she likes me too" he confirmed with a laugh "don't worry about that"

"Do not even consider that possibility,  you know I was inside the dungeons the whole time being. Anyway, now I do. And I’m also aware it doesn’t matter my opinion on it, it is your private life, we are adults now. But I’ll still keep my observational skills on Augustine." The idea of them strolling as a couple and a vulnerable Damian didn’t please him at all, Soon, he’d have to witness demonstrations of love in the form of affectional gestures and gifts. Even the thought was being more unpleasant than the headache. "You have a correct point on that…" As he watched Damian finish his laugh, he couldn’t help but to grin, "And… Congratulations, Damian. Expecting that laugh to last."

Damian smiled "I know you'll keep an eye on her, you always do, I'd not expect anything less. I appreciate that you're just trying to look out for me" same old Flynn. "thanks, though... I'm sure it will last. She's just..." he struggled to find the right word for Sophie, but figured Flynn didn't want to hear it anyway "nevermind, you know I like her"
