High school “there’s a contest for the best promposal that I really want to win, and I’ve been in love with you since freshman year, so this is my last chance to make a move before graduation, so I have to go all out to ask you to prom despite my attempts to do so being repeatedly and comedically thwarted” AU.

High school “we and each of our respective best friends got assigned to a huge group project together and we can’t be in a room for five minutes without bickering, so our friends who are worried that we’ll derail the project resolve to set us up to get us to stop arguing” AU. (Sort of like Much Ado but without a group project?)

Hey all! So excited to start running this exchange blog. Here is how the exchange system will work:

FOR RECIPIENTS: if you have a birthday or other celebratory occasion coming up and you’d like a Damerey (Poe Dameron/Rey) fanfic as a gift, submit your prompt through the ask box, along with the date on which you’d like it. [NOTE: if you’re not comfortable giving your birthday, feel free to just say the month instead! That’s great for authors as well, because it gives us more time to write.] Please give at least a week of warning, ideally more, so that authors have enough time to fill your requests, and keep prompts safe-for-work (this is important, as the blog’s admin is a minor - if I get any smut requests from people who might be adults, I legally have to delete them). Requests can be as specific or as broad as you want them to be, though expect authors to take as much creative freedom as they wish if your request is general (an example of such a prompt would be “domestic fluff”). Check back on the date you specified to see your prompt fills! 

FOR AUTHORS: all prompts will be publicly posted. Once they’re up, anyone can fill them; there’s no need to let me know if you’re filling them until you’re ready to submit. When you finish writing, prompt fill fics should be posted to AO3 and gifted to the recipient. (In the event that the recipient isn’t on AO3, skip the gifting step.) Then, reblog the original ask with the link to your prompt fill; use the tag #damereyexchange and tag the recipient’s blog. I will reblog all prompt fills with the #damereyexchange tag so that the recipient has easy access to all of them. For legal reasons, no explicit content - again, not only am I a minor, but minors could request fic as well.
