A Look at Neo Nazi Ideology in Ukraine, the USA, and Governments
I haven’t written anything in a while, but this has really been on my mind a lot. It’s time for history and a look at the Neo Nazi ideology in Ukraine, the USA, and why this isn’t being reported in the mainstream news.
Now, obviously, I feel for the people who are suffering in Ukraine and in Europe in general (the Russian people are dealing with a lot, too), because they’re everyday people who got caught in the crossfire of all these politics. It’s terrifying to be in a war and there is no denying that. But the narrative that the Ukrainian government is totally innocent and uncorrupted is not true.
At first, I thought that the Ukrainian government was relatively okay, and it was and still is sad to see how people’s lives are being destroyed through this war. But the more I read and learned about it, the more I began to see how dangerous the Nazism actually is in the Ukrainian government, and how deep the corruption is.
Truthfully, Nazi beliefs are inhumane, and against the natural harmony and interconnection of life. Most Neo Nazis believe that the white race is superior, drawing directly from Adolf Hitler’s philosophy and writings in Nazi Germany. Many Neo Nazis believe that all other races and peoples, including the Jews, are inferior and they must be wiped out.
Adolf Hitler not only despised Jews, he also felt that Black people and Slavs were inferior. Hitler was obsessed with race and the idea that only one race, the Aryan (or white Nordic) race was superior.
Although Hitler was defeated in World War II, his ideology lived on as an underground movement in Germany. To this day, there are still undercurrents of it. The US government actually let Nazis in through Operation Paperclip, which is one reason why there are undercurrents of Nazism here too.
The US government wanted to have Nazi scientists and engineers, because of the high technological skills they possessed. So while the US government publicly presented itself as being against Nazis, the US intelligence operations were secretly bringing Nazi engineers and scientists into high positions of government.
Despite the attempts to keep this intelligence operation top secret, most of the info on it leaked out to the public. All together, 1,600 Nazis were immigrated to the US government.
In Ukraine, Nazis also managed to infiltrate, through the Azov regiment, a violent and ultra-nationalist far right group. (Please note that I don’t follow any particular political party, and I know that there are also corrupt far left groups, too).
The Azov regiment openly displays Nazi symbolism, and its leader, Andriy Biletsky, said he wanted to make Ukraine a center for white supremacists and Nazis. He said Ukraine’s purpose was to lead the white races of the world in a final crusade against “Semite-led Untermenschen [inferior races]”.
Ukraine is the only nation in the world to have Neo Nazis in their armed forces as a result. Azov gained so much power, they were even able to form their own political party. One Ukrainian president praised the unit for its fighting skills.
Most of the everyday people struggle in Ukraine. The Ukrainian government is full of endemic corruption, which causes many of the everyday people to live in very poor living conditions, while the upper class and some politicians get a lot of money and wealth.
Many African and Indian students also faced extreme racism, and even bullets from the border officials, when the students were stuck at the border and couldn’t leave Ukraine. Border officials are usually connected to the government, and the Neo Nazi ideology is in Ukraine’s government.
The incident of the African and Indian students facing discrimination and attacks at the border from the Ukrainian officials was scarcely talked about in the mainstream news.
From a bigger perspective, you can see how Neo Nazi ideology can overtake a nation and cause inhumane treatment towards other human beings. Instead of being humane and insuring the African and Indian students could leave Ukraine safely, the Ukrainian border officials treated them with cruelty.
The US government and the Biden administration have supported the Ukraine armed forces today, gliding over the fact that there are still Nazis in the Ukrainian army and government. When you see the USA’s past history with letting Nazis into our government, you see why this is the case.
Joe Biden himself worked with a racist segregationist back in the 1970’s to oppose busing; at the time, busing was a way to desegregate white schools by bringing black students into them. When he was asked about this back in the 1970’s, Biden said bluntly, “I don’t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather, I feel responsible for what the situation is today, for the sins of my own generation. And I’ll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago.”
Biden also lied about being part of the civil rights movement. He claimed he was “in the civil rights marches”. When no evidence of his involvement appeared (except the evidence which showed he was working with white segregationists during this period), Biden later admitted he was lying. He then claimed he just felt the spirit of the time and he actually wasn’t an activist. An eye-opening quote is from the article showing Biden’s history of continual lying…
“In September of 1987, with his presidential campaign completely consumed by his lies, Biden, with his entire public life in shambles, fell on his sword and told the truth about his lack of work in the Civil Rights Movement. In repeated interviews, campaign events, and national keynote speeches at the Democratic Conventions of both Maine and California, Biden told wild tales of how he marched, sat-in, and boycotted during the Civil Rights Movement and even went so far as to suggest that he had traveled to Selma and Birmingham with such actions, but with his campaign in tatters, he finally said they were all lies.”
Bu that’s another story for another time.
Anyway, Nazi ideology is still going strong in some countries. Several key signs of it are the idea that the white race is superior and other inferior races must be eliminated, the idea that a “pure white nation” must be created, and a hatred of Jews or other minority groups. Usually, most Neo Nazis worship Hitler’s ideas and revere Hitler.
This is a dangerous ideology which has caused mass destruction around the world. Strangely enough, there are still black people who support the Ukrainian government completely, without realizing the Neo Nazi aspect to it. I read a story that one black man is actually planning to go all the way to Ukraine to fight in the war! It seems we are so quick to support anyone but ourselves.
Nazism is not a small part of the Ukrainian government; it actually has managed to get inside the government. And that’s very dangerous. I feel as black people we should be opening our eyes to how these dangerous beliefs are a very big part of governments that continue to harm us, both here and abroad. We need to be aware of what the truth is.
