My headcannons: Marc is a femboy and he makes Nathanial judge his outfits. Everytime he wears something cute, Nathaniel has a bi panic. Marc kisses nath on the cheek and hand even if they aren't dating and that makes Nathanial freak out cause he likes it. Nathaniel keeps a diary and no one is allowed to read it, not even Marc has read it cause he understands nath wants privacy. When Marc definitely asked nath out during reverser aka the episode where Marinette walked in on them. nath git surprised and nervous cause he wasnt sure about his feelings, he thinks he likes Marc back but he ain't sure yet. So Nathanial told him "give me some time to think about it" because he was questioning his sexuality and he is scared his mom will get mad at him for being bisexual.
