I love Jason as the Red Hood. I'm no saying I agree with most of his actions (I'm on Bats' side on this one), but I really like how he is a very complex character and I'm always eager to see his redemption in all of it's glory.
However, I will never abide with those who say that Joker killing him as a kid was worth it. Good heavens, this will never make any sense to me and it always boils my blood to hear people saying such nonsense!!
He was a bloody kid, for God's sake!! That kid only knew the streets and for one moment he thought he was not only out of that misery, but he also had the chance to fight those who caused such misery.
The stupid people who voted for his death gave that joyful and hopeful child an even worse fate than the one he was first assigned to. A crowbar, man...
No, it wasn't worth it. Did he become a good hero at the end? Yes, but what cost?
