However, I will never abide with those who say that Joker killing him as a kid was worth it. Good heavens, this will never make any sense to me and it always boils my blood to hear people saying such nonsense!!

He was a bloody kid, for God's sake!! That kid only knew the streets and for one moment he thought he was not only out of that misery, but he also had the chance to fight those who caused such misery.

The stupid people who voted for his death gave that joyful and hopeful child an even worse fate than the one he was first assigned to. A crowbar, man...

It's 3pm and it has already been a good day so far. Depression has gotten the best of me in the last few days, most of what I was doing was rotting in bed. Last night I had a therapy session, went to bed soon and today I played the piano, had a wonderful lunch with my family for my sister's birthday, did my devotional with no rush, did some crochet and read a bit of one of my favourite books. I absolutely cannot pinpoint the last day I actually did the things I enjoy.

Recently finished this Sherlock Holmes book! Two more to go and I'll have read the entirety of the work on this wonderful universe created by Doyle.

My parents gave me these books as a birthday gift in 2020. At the time I was too young and, even though I loved the characters, I thought the writing was too difficult. For years I kept thinking the same thing without picking the books again.

This year I decided to pick it up again and guess what? Fifteen year old me was just dumb. The book is actually fantastic and I am completely in love with John Watson's (a.k.a. Doyle) writing! It is truly a delight to read it, I recommend it to anyone and everyone.

There is beauty in ordinary life.

I always thought I was meant to a extraordinary life, with great success, a wonderful career, a perfect family, a perfect life. I would see all these rich people around the internet and think "I will be one of them one day and I'll finally be happy". Even after being found by Christ I still held on to this belief. I made big life mistakes because if this belief.

However, Life taught me that greatness do not come from that. You can have a simple life and still be happy because the extraordinary absolutely do not come from the material aspect of life. No. It comes from a true relationship with Christ. That's where true happiness lands and that's where I'm going, thanks to Him.

I started reading The Magician's Nephew yesterday and was absolutely shocked that he is mentioned right in the second paragraph. I'm a huuge fan of both stories and I can't believe they are "connected"!!

Now I'm in college. Unfortunately I wasn't able to bring my guitar with me. I knew I needed at least one instrument with me to keep me sane throughout the semester, so I decided to bring my old flute.

I'm currently reading the books. I already read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and The boy and his horse and I'm almost finishing Prince Caspian.

In the movies they decided that Lucy wasn't going to the battles, which makes sense, she is way too young, it wouldn't look good. Susan, however was in every single one, fighting side by side with the others, being the commander of the archers.

In the books it's the complete opposite! Lewis presents Lucy as an absolute warrior and she freely chooses to be a part of the battles. Susan, on the other hand, hates fighting. She avoids killing as much as she can and constantly prefers not go to war. Which is also completely valid, I don't say this to judge her at all, she is an amazing character, fighting or not fighting.

Anyways, just thought this was an interesting curiosity. Maybe things will shift throughout the other books, we'll see.
