happy ogo thursday!!!!!

The short means a lot to me. I remember going crazy over the short when I found out about it, I remember getting a little upset even over the fact the short wasn't well preserved considering the other two shorts produced for Robot and Monster weren't lost media. I have been a crazed Ogo fan since 18th October 2025, during that time frame of then and December 17, I thought about the short at least once every day.

Around this time, Dave Pressler started becoming more active on social media. He opened his tumblr blog, where I asked him if he knew about the short. He replied with this.

This was on the 8th of December. The short was posted on the 17th. I've always blamed myself for the short being posted. During the time between those dates, I had this as my discord status.

And so, on the 16th, this came out. The premiere. At 3 am. I was awake at early hours of the morning, this was literally taken at 4 am. I was kept awake only for the fact I was so excited about the short, I got nauseous over it. The problem was tomorrow I was going out with friends and family and then I had to stay awake until 3 am after that. I don't remember when I woke up, but I got dressed, went to that place and the entire time I was distracted. I couldn't eat, I remember we bought food to eat and my mum asked me why I stopped eating after a little bit and I said it was because I wasn't hungry— NO. Complete lie. I felt too excited over the short I felt sick in my gut. I kept telling my friend about it, I was so nervous whether or not I was going to crash early or miss the short somehow. I was starting to think I was stupid for staying up until 3 am for a little short. I didn't shut up the entire time about the short.

The days over. Everything's great. I managed to get myself an energy drink just in case I fall asleep before the short comes out. I get home, I think I got home about 5pm. I had so much time to stall with, I cleaned my room. Vacuum and everything, listening to music. I made art and an edit for it.

I can't find the edit, but here's the art. I believe I posted this on an alt @kenthus2asm because I got banned at the time (for using a VPN) Mind you, this was made with literally one image as reference because we only had the thumbnail for it from the Nickelodeon website at the time... lol

The time came. It was 2:30. I planned to make myself popcorn for it but I DIDN'T!!! HAVE ANY POPCORN!!! So it's whatever. I remember watching a Robot and Monster animation meme on loop the entire time before it premiered. I had my phone and iPad pulled out for the short and both of them set up with YouTube (I don't even remember why)

I watched the short. I cried. Screamed into my pillow. Stimmed. I went out of my room walking around the house to calm myself down, get a drink. I was losing my marbles in the live chat.

And then... I saw something move when I was out in my lounge room. It was a RAT. We had a LITERAL RAT INFESTATION. AFTER I WATCHED OGO'S FRIENDS. So that was pretty awesome, we had like 3 and I named one of them Thursday, after the Ogo Thursday joke. Me and my friends joked that the rats came to see the short too.
