Okay I don't know what's going on but this doesn't sound like good news so I'm putting this on my blog as well to spread awareness on whatever's going on.

Excuse me what the actual fuck-

We need to put into consideration that other games are also might disappear! Like cuphead, hollow night, fall guys etc! They can all be cleared out from the market (idk what will happen with the physical copies) BUT it is 61 percent of games are made from unity! This is disgusting! Please guys! We need to spread awareness of that horrible company and its evil doings! Please reblog and spread awareness!!

Oh god so it’s actually being deleted?? I thought it was a joke!

I’m reblogging it with this addition that Massive Monster is joking about deleting the game, because I think it’s shitty behavior to spread something that’s essentially causing mass hysteria and panic, and choosing to still omit this VERY IMPORTANT detail after people have given this info, and just repeating “but it’s still a greedy company and people should know about it” Instead of editing the post or reblog that says it’s going to get deleted, and letting people know beforehand that MM is not deleting their game, and it was a joke, so they could express their opposition in a way that HOPEFULLY mattered to the company. But for legal reasons I have to say I agree with the part that Unity is fucked up and greedy and yet another big bad poopoo company in the hellscape that is late stage capitalism and you shouldn’t use it if you’re looking to start your own game. But my point is…. DONT MAKE PEOPLE FUCKING PANIC AND CONTINUE TO OMIT IMPORTANT DETAILS AFTER THEY’VE BEEN GIVEN TO YOU. Aight bye.

Dude they already put THAT image basically saying “we’re joking, but we still don’t agree with Unity’s decision.” Are you fully sure it ISN’T a joke, because you seem to be brushing off the fact that you’re 100% comfortable with causing people to panic which was the whole point of my response in the first place. I already clarified, yes, I agree, the company is being greedy as hell, but you shouldn’t keep saying half-truths in order to get a reaction out of people and pinging a fuck ton of people to spread a post that’s basically “COTL IS GETTING DELETED!!!!!
