but for anybody who might possibly be reading before voting in the poll, keep in mind that ryo had his best friend (akira, love of his life) merge with a demon in order to survive in the upcoming apocalypse with him, only to unintentionally send a mob of murderous humans to kill akira’s adoptive family! this causes akira to hate ryo’s guts and start a full on war against him that lasted for 20 YEARS before ryo kills akira and then, as they lay side by side in akira’s last moments, ryo apologizes for everything that he’s done and attempts to tell akira that he realized he was wrong for what he did and begs for forgiveness. but he was too late and akira had already passed, so ryo was the last living thing on earth before God’s army destroyed the whole thing. thank you for reading my rant about devilman. vote ryo
