Something on how Bob treats Truman post Maligula, onegai shimasu?
Honestly wish we got more content in-game of how it deteriorated to really hone how tragic it all was, + more on Bob trying to reconcile after Raz helps him out. Oh well, maybe in Psychonauts 3 if that ever happens.
I was doodling this and remembered this ask. it's during the big firing fight itself but while I'm thinking about it:
I think Truman excused a lot of Bob's initial bad work at his job bc he knew Bob was in mourning and not everyone can be at their best 100%. And him making that exception turned into Truman being unable to confront Bob about any issues bc Bob would deflect and Truman would be like "he just needs more time" until it all blew up in both of their faces. Truman giving Bob way too many chances without getting at the heart of what he was truly bothered by.
and Bob in turn was unwilling to self reflect or seek out help. whether it was intentional or not at first, he was taking advantage of the fact that he is a bit beyond reproach in his job for a while bc of his founding status, smth he explicitly brings up when getting fired.
the bomb that was their relationship falling apart had a really long fuse that was lit a while ago and no one stomped it out in time.
