I cannot explain how deeply my need to be free is. as a child I’d slip away from everyone waiting for the morning bus. Id be in the woods alone for 6-7 hours rather than be in a classroom. at sleep overs I’d wait until everyone was asleep and climb out a window, find a phone to call home or walk. I’ve quit many jobs after being promoted or given a raise. this is all true yet I cage myself in other ways as if I don’t know.
