I have my exam tomorrow and all I am doing is finding the motivation to get my ass up and at least study 50%. The mantra “No Fucks Given” is hitting hard.

My best friend: There is this Gurudwara where me and my family always go whenever we buy something new. My mom went to the same Gurudwara when I was born too.

The concept of death has always amused me. Unlike others, I don’t think about the soul leaving the body and all that spiritual crap. People have a 1000 desires, dreams how they wanna live. I have a 1000 ways I wanna die and all of them consist of once in a lifetime experiences. I am not afraid of death, I am afraid of not living. Not living the life of the party.  

I don’t intend to be confined in a 9-5 job with a massive desk making big bucks and running operations of a well known MNC. Materialistic life isn’t my cup of tea. Travelling, discovering and unravelling the secrets of the earth and the life is what I wanna live for. We spend all our life chasing our goals but we never spend time in knowing ourselves. We are like the oceans, we have hardly discovered ourselves, but when we do, the whole humanity is amazed by the things we are capable of doing. All of us are creative in our own distinct way but the creativity is buried inside, it wont come out of it’s grave when we are stuck in a routine. 

I wanna know this beautiful planet, get to know it’s secrets, get to know the history of every important revolution this world has witnessed. I wanna dig deep and listen to the heart of the earth. Every mountain range, every coastline, every suburban plane, every hot and burning desert. The only way to know the true self is by getting to know your land and sea. Nature’s most magnificent gift to humanity is nature itself.  

Coming back to death, I believe we have at least 3 seconds of time before we die and in those 3 seconds, our whole life is flashed upon us. We recall all the beautiful and the most cherished moments of our life cause that’s what our life is made up of. No matter how much pain you go through but when you are on your deathbed, that is when you know your life wasn’t too cruel on you. In those 3 seconds, I wanna recall every adventure I have had, every tear I have shed, every place I have visited, every culture I have discovered, every food I have relished, every sip of wine I have had, every kiss, every time I have made love and every time I thought “What more do I need from life? I have everything.”
