I'm still very tired so it will take a while for me to get through the rest of the photos I took and post them here. Many are from the final fantasy, mxtx and tourabu shoots so if you want those soon just DM me. I had so much fun with old friends and made many new friends this year! My panel was a huge success and for that I'm very grateful. I've suffered severe social anxiety my entire life so to do a one hour speech in front of a nearly full double room is something my younger self would rather die than do. To give some context I would take 0's or get doctors notes to do alternate assignments cuz it was THAT BAD. But I'm really proud and maybe I'll do it next year if there is still interest!! As doing these commissions are still a learning experience for me I want to take note of things I need to improve upon.  First I need to look into a better way of finishing the edges for stretch fabric like this as I don’t like how the zig zag stitch looks.  I tried using a double needle but I believe it was the wrong type and was hence, giving me tons of issues and is where a lot of my time was wasted despite this being a pretty easy costume. For the sleeves i made the mistake of cutting the zig zags first and then trying to fit my bias tape over it. Which meant that some of them didn’t fit perfectly and made them difficult to attach. Also, Wright’s premade bias tape, while convenient, is so THIN AND AWFUL. I’m going to look into other brands or suck it up and make my own from now on.
