Dr. D. Light was at the market, buying some groceries. The market was busier than usual, maybe because of the Sale… It didn’t matter though, it made quite the nice vibe! The Jolly Doctor was humming to himself as he made his way to the next stall, a shopping list in-hand.

The conversation went smoothly, until Ms. Bailor brought up something… odd.

“People must be really busy buying food for Christmas,” Ms. Bailor says, “So busy someone must’ve knocked a crab off the seafood stall!”

Dr. D Light perks up a little at the mention of a ‘crab’.

“A crab, you say?” The Jolly Doctor asks, intrigued, “Do tell me more!”

“Well, I discovered a crab next to my stall,” The vendor says, “Obviously it came from the seafood stall, so I placed it back there.”

“I see! Well, it was nice talking to you, but i best be off!” Dr. D. Light says, now noticing a very familiar hat lying in the snow next to them, their never-ending smile teetering a little.

“Goodbye!”

“Bye!”

Our Jolly Plague Doctor knows what’s going on, and if someone picks our Crab friend as their next shopping item, it will not end well.

Yep, he definitely knows which crab is our Crab Friend.

He notices the vendor pulling out rubber bands, and right then our Jolly Plague Doctor knew there wasn’t much time left.

“Excuse me- Sorry- Coming through-”

He’s cutting in line. Not a nice thing to do, mind you, but if your friend is about to be gutted alive in front of you and served as someone’s Christmas Dinner, maybe cutting in line isn’t the biggest problem here.

no way are they putting rubber bands on them! In flash, they bury themselves under the crustaceans and chuck ice at the vendor and customer. The moment they heard the delightful (heh) doctor speak, they pop up. And that’s when the vendor grabs them.

“So sorry about that sir, I’ll have it ready in just a moment”

They flinched and stepped back a little as the Crab Friend pinches onto the Vendor, but quickly realises an opportunity.

Our Jolly Plague Doctor sneakily opens their shopping bag, making sure nobody else saw, before motioning to the Crustacean Friend with their eyes (eyeholes?) to make a run for it.

Suddenly, they notice our little Crab Friend preforming their escape; his eyes following the Crustacean.

Not a plan he thought of, but a plan that worked. And that’s all that mattered, it worked.

Realising our Crab Friend had spotted him, our Jolly Plague Doctor gave them a small and discreet wave, before realising that the crab was now sailing towards him in the air.

“Hello! I just came to say I am sorry for my outburst earlier, I just thought you needed help. That is all.”

“…But whilst I am here, I’d like to buy 2 Tilapia Fish please.”

Whilst humming, our Delightful Doctor notices our Crab Friend crawling out of their hiding spot and onto their shoulder. After jumping a little at the sneeze, our Doctor smiles at the Crab.

“Oh yes! I think I might have something you need…”

With a small jump, he notices the hat pop into a Christmas Hat.

“Oh! Haha, how convenient!”

Inside, is a small knit scarf; knitted by the Jolly Doctor himself!

“Well, I discovered a crab next to my stall,” The vendor says, “Obviously it came from the seafood stall, so I placed it back there.”

“I see! Well, it was nice talking to you, but i best be off!” Dr. D. Light says, now noticing a very familiar hat lying in the snow next to them, their never-ending smile teetering a little.

“Goodbye!”

“Bye!”

Our Jolly Plague Doctor knows what’s going on, and if someone picks our Crab friend as their next shopping item, it will not end well.

Yep, he definitely knows which crab is our Crab Friend.

He notices the vendor pulling out rubber bands, and right then our Jolly Plague Doctor knew there wasn’t much time left.

“Excuse me- Sorry- Coming through-”

He’s cutting in line. Not a nice thing to do, mind you, but if your friend is about to be gutted alive in front of you and served as someone’s Christmas Dinner, maybe cutting in line isn’t the biggest problem here.

no way are they putting rubber bands on them! In flash, they bury themselves under the crustaceans and chuck ice at the vendor and customer. The moment they heard the delightful (heh) doctor speak, they pop up. And that’s when the vendor grabs them.

“So sorry about that sir, I’ll have it ready in just a moment”

They flinched and stepped back a little as the Crab Friend pinches onto the Vendor, but quickly realises an opportunity.

Our Jolly Plague Doctor sneakily opens their shopping bag, making sure nobody else saw, before motioning to the Crustacean Friend with their eyes (eyeholes?) to make a run for it.

Suddenly, they notice our little Crab Friend preforming their escape; his eyes following the Crustacean.

Not a plan he thought of, but a plan that worked. And that’s all that mattered, it worked.

Realising our Crab Friend had spotted him, our Jolly Plague Doctor gave them a small and discreet wave, before realising that the crab was now sailing towards him in the air.

“Hello doctor, how can I help you? Any preference in seafood?”

he gestures to the many choices. Lobsters, clams, assorted fish, crabs (duh) and Course the one thing the crab sees is tilapia (🤤). Making their mouth water a bit but they stay hidden. Hopefully people will just think the top rolled or folded to make the lump on the doc’s shoulder.

As the Crab Friend clambered onto the Doctor’s shoulder, he shivered a bit. I mean, who wouldn’t? A crab climbing over you most probably feels all ticklish.

Of course, our Jolly Plague Doctor moved to the back of the line, that’s the polite thing to do.

As he reaches the front of the line, our Doctor puts on a smile bigger than his usual one, to attempt to remove any negative energy.

“Hello! I just came to say I am sorry for my outburst earlier, I just thought you needed help. That is all.”

Dr. D Light then notices our Crab Friend drooling at the Tilapia.

“…But whilst I am here, I’d like to buy 2 Tilapia Fish please.”

Whilst humming, our Delightful Doctor notices our Crab Friend crawling out of their hiding spot and onto their shoulder. After jumping a little at the sneeze, our Doctor smiles at the Crab.

Dr. D. Light was at the market, buying some groceries. The market was busier than usual, maybe because of the Sale… It didn’t matter though, it made quite the nice vibe! The Jolly Doctor was humming to himself as he made his way to the next stall, a shopping list in-hand.

The conversation went smoothly, until Ms. Bailor brought up something… odd.

“People must be really busy buying food for Christmas,” Ms. Bailor says, “So busy someone must’ve knocked a crab off the seafood stall!”
