Like, he comes out looking like this.

I have recently finished infinity train, and realiced one detail that no body has been talking about.

 There two characters have the same personality and very similar aesthetic. 

Let me explain.

1. Both are the science type of person, one with gadgets and the other with biology

2. Both have little appreciation for the world they are in, Simon thinks the train is for himself to enjoy, and Qilby just doesn’t care.

3. Both have toxic personality, they want something, and they don’t care if others are in disagree, they WILL get what they want.

4. Both can be classified as the antagonist, or the villain, even if they are or not evil. Let me explain, Qilby is clearly the antagonist of the second season, but Simon, I don’t know how to classify him, he’s bad, but still.

5. Both have committed murder and have little to no remorse for it.

6. They have a lot of similarities in their designs. For example, their hoodie is the exact same color, a light yellow or even white hoodie, but Qilby’s a little bit more complicated since he lives in a less actual or realistic world. Both have brown pants that don’t reach the floor, Simon’s pants are torn from one side. Both have similar hairstyles, short bangs, longer on the sideways, and a ponytail, more or less. And both have facial hair, Simon’s shorter because of his age, while Qilby’s longer since he’s already a grown up.

Of course they have diferent hair color (tho I would like to point out,  Qilby does turn blond for some time) and Simon doesn’t have glasses... YET.

The diferences on their designs I would say are because of the diferent world they come from,  but you can’t tell me they are incredibly similar.
