I also had a question for you! Do you have any particular songs you listen to/that bring you inspiration for your killjoys drawings, either specific mcr songs or from other artists? I had a moment the other day while listening to an old playlist where I was like “rest in peace party poison you would’ve loved shut up and drive by Rihanna” lol and it inspired me to ask!! also if you have any ideas or doodles of the Fab Four listening to music…… that would be awesome to see! but nooooo pressure ofc!! love ur work very much :)

Poison is incredibly Kesha and Charli to meee. Jet and Ghoul I think would have similar taste in maybe some more classic stuff, I always end up correlating them with James Taylor or misc stuff from the 70's. Kobra to me likes electronic- I like to imagine the instrumentals from the zones would be interesting.

But specific DD songs I come back to are ofc Bulletproof Heart, Save Yourself, and The Only Hope. And other songs I think work for my killjoys are Roadkill by The 1975, Life is A Highway, Detonate by Charli, Nettles, and also Radio Towers by Ethel Cain, Ventura Highway, and It Never Rains in Southern California. Like ofc those are the ones I have AMVs in my head for LOL!!

My name is Layan. I'm 30 years old and I once lived a life full of hope and ambition.I studied architecture and earned a bachelor's degree, and I worked for a private company for a while. But when the war broke out in Gaza, the company shut down and was completely destroyed, leaving me jobless and without a place to work. My husband was killed in the war, and my daughter Fatima, my sons Ahmed and Mahmoud, and I were left alone. I became the family's sole breadwinner in these extremely harsh conditions. 💔 As the bombing intensified and the violence escalated, we were forced to flee our beautiful home, which was completely destroyed, to the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. We lived in a small tent barely a few meters wide, but even that wasn't enough. We had to flee again to central Gaza, where we now live in a school for displaced people, moving from place to place without knowing when this tragic journey would end. With prices rising due to the closure of the crossings, I can't feed my children or provide them with the bare necessities of life. I launched this campaign hoping that those who understand the meaning of humanity in this world will help us. ❤️🇵🇸

The heat was terrible and I got really close to thr*wing up and fainting but I didn't 🥳 everyone at the trinket trade was SO NICE and seeing other Ghoul's was really funny.
