FACEBOOK DON'T LIKE "SMOKE (no)"
Hello everyone, I make this post, because after 15 days, we are no longer able to use some Facebook tools, such as the platform to promote the posts we make. This started as soon as our promotion on the new song SMOKE (no) started. Which as everyone has understood is meant to be a strong message against cigarette smoking that kills seven million people every year (source: W.H.O.). To promote our posts, some of which have been removed such as teaser 1, teaser 2, the lyrics of the song, to name a few .... we used EXCLUSIVELY, the tools made available by Facebook! So we detect two serious inconsistencies on the part of Facebook towards the artist D.J. Highlanders, the first, the indisputable and evident desire to boycott a campaign that assumes social characteristics of considerable importance, against cigarette smoking, the second, questions its own promotional tools ... because, in trying to understanding what is happening, we have discovered that one of the reasons for this boycott derives from the fact that, using exclusively the tools made available by facebook, we had initially reached a public audience of twelve million people! Small numbers if we compare them with the great artists, disproportionately huge numbers if we consider that D.J. Highlanders is still a complete stranger in the world of music!
This is our position, also because we have tried in vain to contact facebook, but all online services do not help us to solve the problem, and a maze of closed boxes that leads nowhere .... and there is no type of direct contact .... we are talking with a rubber wall, which also makes fun of you, and we have abundant proof of this!
Moreover, if within 15 days we fail to resolve this situation, facebook closes the page, at least this is the threat that came to us following their instructions to try to solve the situation ...
