Hey! Its been a while since my last upload, I was trying to set up the streams on Twitch! In The last one we made a simple third person platformer that we'll be using for our future tutorials.

Eg. The two best translations according to most people are the Longfellow and the Clive.

Longfellow uses a lot of pretty words and inversion (which I am a bit of a sucker for) and he sets the scene in a very frightening manner.

Dante is written to be dazed and confused but also terrified of the forest he is in. Longfellow also prefers the blank verse rather than Alighieri's ABA BCB CDC style which Clive likes to stick to.

You'll notice that Dante in this version doesnt describe the forest but his reaction to it, while Longfellow's Dante was throwing words out hoping to describe what scares him so. Clive's Dante's fear was just a matter of perspective in that other people might not have felt that fear, but Longfellow's Dante's fear was because the forest was all but designed to intimidate and kill.

While in the Longfellow version the lines were divided such that they would form a unique thought, the Clive version gives weight to the prose and so the thoughts are kindof mushed together so that it rhymes better.

Obviously this is a very subjective thing, some people would definitely have a better experience with a strong attention to prose, others would like a relatively simpler style of formatting.
