Very quickly, the look of terror shock was masked with a scowl. Dipper had no doubt that Bill knew he was afraid of him, but that didn’t mean he wanted to wear that fear on his sleeve. He hadn’t backed down when he was twelve, after all, why would he back down now?

“Yeah? We managed to get rid of you for a while the last time. We’ll find a way to get rid of you for good this time!”

The threat was announced with far more confidence than Dipper felt; the truth of the matter was, he had always worried that this would happen and, really, he was surprised it had taken this long.

Dipper’s threats could be taken lightly or seriously; right now, he wasn’t able to pin down if he should worry. to give that pitiful family some credit, they did succeed. once. most humanity, especially of this kind, had trouble committing murder; which is the first thing that comes to his mind that could ‘concern’ him

would they ? probably not

would he ? definitely
