some kind of worm from the ground i think
generally you shouldn't write run-on sentences because they get confusing and it doesn't give the reader a break. that doesn't apply to me though my run-on sentences are fun and understandable and they have a rhythm to it that makes you want to keep reading
see my problem is if i “listen to my body” it literally only wants to lie down and take naps, all the time

I wanted to post about this because I know many of my mutuals are avid crafters and I don't know how much attention this endeavour is getting outside of end-of-life spaces-
The Loose Ends Project matches crafters with a project that is unfinished because of death or disability. They offer help with a spectrum of textile mediums in over 80 countries. One project I find particularly lovely: “My mom was making this octopus for me. She was 67 years old when she passed away from COPD. She was hospitalized for pulmonary rehab several times and would always take it to work on while she was there and loved to talk about it with people."
(the red heart marks the last stitch made by this person's mom) Anyway, if something like this is something you'd like to be involved in, they are always looking for more crafters <3
My favourite recent finishing project that they posted about wasn't precisely something that the crafter left unfinished. The knitter in question had had dementia, and thought she was knitting scarves. So a finisher was found to piece all the little bits of knitting together into a blanket.
um actually there's nothing wrong with letting cats be outdoor pets. your cat is depressed locked inside forever. it's animal abuse. let it outside. more cats should be let outside more often. especially overnight.

These wonderful people have a single braincell to share but unfortunately none of them are using it

nobody thinks this way, you are a broken person
It is unethical to be a standup comedian
Cops basically admitted they don't do shit to solve crimes anymore when they stopped carrying around magnifying glasses
i love following people with kinks I don’t have because somtimes I’m like
not interested in getting involved in the rest of this discussion, for the most part, but to me this is a GREAT piece of advice that many people these days don't seem to be getting or understanding.
not everyone you meet or interact with is your friend, the requirements and expectations for respectful behaviour between friends is not the same as between strangers.

Can everyone who makes video content do a Deaf bitch a favor? Watch your shit with the captions on and the sound off, and then do another round of editing to fix things including but not limited to:
Captions cover the spot on the screen you put the information I need
The dialogue is captioned but not the song you have playing that the dialogue is responding to
You only captioned the person on the screen, not the person off screen who is also talking
No captioning of critical sound effects (alarms, bells, dogs barking, etc)
Speakers are not labelled at moments where it is not clear on the screen who is talking.
Captions cover the spot on the screen that you put the information I need!
Other d/Deaf people welcome to add.
This post brought to you by the fifth video tutorial I could not follow because the bad, auto-generated captions covered what I was trying to watch today.
I would like to add, please, PLEASE if you edit your lyrics/talking/anything to musical BEATS or place them strategically around the screen, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY add a caption or SOMETHING with the lyrics/whatever is spoken in a way I can read it.
I have to watch a video so many times to understand where the words are, whats being said, what it means when it's edited like that. I understand it's for visual show/it's strategic. But I can't understand what's going on when I'm looking at sideways to top to bottom words being cut rapidly one at a time.
If you want to learn how captions should look, look at how CC black box text does it on TV. The one word at a time blinking "captions" can be so hard to read because it's almost never paced correctly. Captions are access! I am RELYING on hearing people to give me captions.
