I am sorry someone loved you badly, and that they made you feel like you take up more space than you deserve. I am sorry they abandoned you when you need them the most and it has made you believe that love is an awful thing that hurts.

and i wonder if i were to lay next to you one more time if you would wrap your arms around me like nothing had changed, if we’d forget the year we spent apart kissing the wrong people just to feel a little less lonely. or if we would be separated by too much time and too much hurt for you to ever be able to reach me again.
