As for the concept, the lyrics "These ordinary days...that keep coming and going...and this ordinary town..it still looks like it's sparkling to me" was the base of it, I thought maybe a city that looks really beautiful but to people living there a long time considered that beauty to ordinary would be it? Also a city that has lots of lights that look like stars! Was going to base it off where "THE POLiCY" took place, but I couldn't find out where it was, so I just drew the city of Prague...a few months later after I finished this I find that someone on twitter mentions where "THE POLiCY" took place (actually), and wanted to cry on the spot! I could not begin to tell you how much research I've done just to draw this piece, being a non-jp fan is so hard
