Straight and/or cis people are not, and have not ever been inherently homophobic/transphobic. Being trans/being gay does not automatically make you oppressed. It’s a case by case deal. For example, some people are homophobic, but not everyone is. There are also varying degrees of homophobia, to the point where even if someone disagrees with gay people (which, by the way, is very rare in current society) they’ll leave gay people alone. Don’t generalize. How would you feel if someone were to say that all trans people want attention and are faking it, and that all gay people are just overly sexual? People would be pissed about that.
