Y'all always talking about what your Black parents wouldn't allow you to do growing up and you think bringing your kids up the same will make them respect you. You're the problem.

The problem is that y'all want to skip the inner work steps and go straight to fixing the community. It doesn't work that way. You gotta go inwards first and work your way out

I've said this so many times that every single problem that Black Americans personally have is because of slavery. We didn't experience it but everything that was ingrained in our relatives and ancestors was passed down and we literally operate and function like we're still enslaved. It's ingrained in us. We're not free mentally. That's why we have the same work to do as whites. It's all connected. If we all break free from this TOGETHER imagine how powerful we could be.

Teaching your kids anything that is rooted in fear won't help them make better decisions. It just makes them scared of everything.

Teaching your kids discernment is what's important and teaching them to listen to their body and intuition. You can't teach them these things though when you're not giving them choices in their own home and taking away their bodily autonomy. Kids need to learn to trust you AND themselves. You have to empower them into making the right decisions for themselves or your setting them up for failure. You can't send them out in this world when you've shattered their confidence at home.

At this point y'all need to take y'all Black kids and get the fuck out the US, because apparently we’re not fucking safe here! Like get your children out the country
